There are many places of interest to visit in the Belait District. Among them are the Sungai Liang Recreational Forest Park, Luagan Lalak and the Wong Kadir Wasai or mini waterfall. Among the most frequented by visitors is the Sungai Liang Recreational Forest
The Sungai Liang Recreational Forest Park in Kuala Belait is about 70 kilometres from Bandar Seri Begawan.
Although located in a remote area, this park is still the favourite destination for the local community looking for a suitable place for recreation or for tourists to enjoy the its natural beauty.
Rest huts of considerable size are also provided in the park including various other facilities, such as public toilets, and changing rooms.
Other facilities provided are footpaths for visitors to stroll comfortably throughout the park to marvel at the beauty of its flora and fauna.
There are three lakes in the park. In the middle of the largest of them is a floating hut. The lakeside is surrounded by a pathway for jungle-trekking activity.
The country can certainly take pride in the beauty and uniqueness of the Sungai Liang Recreation Park, another of its treasures. But at the same time, visitors must know the regulations that they must obey in order to keep the park clean and beautiful as well as for their own safety.
