The Lion Dance Troupe from Chung Hwa Middle School was greeted by General Manager Reggie See, and Deputy General Manager Hazizah Osman, as well as senior management of Brunei Press Sdn Bhd.
‘Ang Pows’ or red envelopes were hung above the front door and ceiling, which the lions ‘consumed’. The lion then moved around the premises as a gesture of bringing good luck and fortune to the business and the staff.
The lion dance troupe put on a spectacular show, leaping from stilts as high as 10 feet above the air.
They later visited the Commercial Printing Services building. As a token of appreciation, Mr Reggie See also presented an ang pow to the troupe, which will be donated to the school for its development.
Chung Hwa Middle School’s lion dance troupe welcomes invitations from the public to conduct performances at their premises.
