Some 70 students from Kindy Care School participated in a flag waving parade held in conjunction with the 26th National Day.
The students from Years One and Four marched and waved their hand-made flags on the streets and were accompanied by their teachers.
According to the School Principal, Dayang Hajah Norlia binti Haji Yusof, the event was held for the first time to instil the spirit of love for the nation at a young age.
Prior to the parade, a flag-colouring competition was held and participated by 25 students of the school. The guest of honour and manager of Kindy Care School, Syarifah Hajah Mariam binti Malai Haji Mashhor, presented the prizes to the winners of the competition. The school was established nine years ago and currently has 70 students and 11 teachers.
