Aiming to raise patriotic spirit of young students
IN CONJUNCTION with the 26″ National Day, the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien (SOAS) College held a celebration of their own, commemorating the spirit of patriotism for our country.
Principal Pg Hj Zahari Pg Hj Ahmad said that the college holds the National Day event every year.
It aims to raise awareness on the importance of our National Day, as well as raising the patriotic spirit in students.
The National Day celebrations in SOAS College are always held not long after the big event.
The spirit of patriotism is still high among the citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam.
It is a good opportunity to hold such celebrations on a smaller scale, such as in schools to further enhance the spirit of patriotism for youths in the Sultanate.
The programmes lined up for the celebration catered to raising the patriotic spirit of youths and the students.
Patriotic poems, songs and Malay traditional dances were also performed by the college’s students.
