OKSB Kilanas Primary School marked the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) yesterday morning at the multipurpose hall and school compound.
Hjh Jijah binti Hj Othman, the headmistress, together with the teachers led the students to walk around the school’s compound to commemorate the birthday of the prophet soon after the morning assembly and hoisting of the school’s flag.
The event continued in the multipurpose hall where two competitions were held – ‘Azan’ for male students and ‘Surah’ for female students. Prior to the competitions, a doa al-Fatihah was read by one of the male teachers.
The event ended with three winners chosen for each competition. However, the prize ceremony will be held this coming Saturday. Suzan J
