SMJA school trip to Royal Regalia


Achong Tanjong Mar 4th, 2010 .

Eighteen Year Seven and Year Eight students accompanied by five teachers from SMJA Secondary School led by Cikgu Dk Hjh Farah Wafiqah binti Pg Hj Sulaiman yesterday made an educational visit to the Royal Regalia Building in the capital.
The students are part of the school’s CCA Club and the aim of the visit was to further expose the students to knowledge on local handicrafts as well as to have a closer look at the development of Islam.

During the visit, students toured the exhibition galleries consisting of the Royal Regalia Exhibition (Coronation 1968), Royal Exhibition Gallery, Silver Jubilee Exhibition Gallery and the History and the Development of Constitutional of Brunei Darussalam Exhibition Gallery.

Earlier, the school also held an educational visit to the Brunei Arts and Handicrafts Centre and ‘Tamu Kianggeh’, in the capital for the same purpose – to expose the students to local handicrafts and culture.
