BRUSSELS, March 6 (NNN-APS): The human rights organization Amnesty International (AI), in a letter addressed Friday to the Spanish European Union Presidency, “is urging” to include the human rights item related to Sahrawi people in the agenda of the first EU-Morocco summit, scheduled for 7 March in Granada (Spain).
“The organization hopes that the EU leaders will adress during this summit the growing intolerance towards the human rights activists, especially the Sahrawis claiming the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination,” the AI said in a statement published in Brussels.
