BLIA Sdn Bhd yesterday celebrated Chinese New Year at Pusat Ehsan in Bengkurong as part of the BLIA’s social responsibilities towards special needs individuals.
Held annually, members and staff of BLIA and Pusat Ehsan gathered early yesterday morning to bring joy to some 97 special needs students who are receiving physiotherapy and occupational therapy programmes.
The morning began with a welcoming speech by a member of the Board of Trustees and followed by a donation of $500 by BLIA’s Managing Director to Pg Datin Hjh Noraini PDNLDR Pg Hj Mohd Momin, the Operational/Executive Trustee of Pusat Ehsan.
The children were treated to a lion dance performance before luncheon commenced, which was followed by a distribution of red packets or Angpau to the children.
Pg Datin Hjh Noraini conveyed her heartfelt gratitude and thanks to BLIA on behalf of the board for organising the celebration.
