MOSCOW, March 7 (NNN-KUNA) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton discussed developments in the Middle East, in preperation for a meeting on the issue in Moscow, it was mentioned here on Saturday.
The two sides, during a telephone conversation, discussed preparations being made for a ministerial meeting of the Quartet on the Middle East scheduled in the Russian capital on March 19, said a Russian Foreign Ministry statement.
Lavrov and Clinton also exchanged viewpoints concerning the Iranian nuclear issue, as well as on Russian-US negotiations related to the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START). — NNN-KUNA![]()
