An appreciation dinner was held at the Royal Brunei Polo and Country Club in Jerudong last night to thank the 16,000-plus people who took part in the recent 26th National Day celebrations. The Minister of Culture, Youth & Sports, Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Ahmad Haji Jumat (right), was among those who handed out certificates of appreciation to representatives of various ministries, departments, educational institutions, as well as other government and non-government organisations and associations, who were involved in the grand event.
