Brunei competes in Kuwait Quran competition

Two delegates will be representing Brunei Darussalam in the Kuwait International Holy al-Quran competition from March 10 to 21.
Muhamad Khairul Anuar bin Haji Ahmad, from Universiti Sultan Sharif Ali, will be participating in the 30 Juz al-Quran memorisation category.

Haji Nasrul Fakhri bin Haji Yahya will take part in the recital of al-Quran.

The delegates will be accompanied by Pengiran Haji Haslin bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Ali, Acting Senior Officer from Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque.

Tickets and allowances were presented to the delegates at the Brunei International Airport. In attendance were Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Director of PPPPQ MABIMS and Acting Special Duties Officer at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ustazah Hjh Faridah binti Hj Yaakob.

A doa selamat was led by an officer from the Tahfiz al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
