The knowledge to perform first aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation may save lives in case of emergencies, and that is where the National Resuscitation Centre (NRC) plays a big role by providing First Aid and CPR training courses.
More than twenty Islamic Studies Department (JPI) personnel yesterday attended training in first aid and CPR procedures at the NRC’s office in Jalan Ong Sum Ping.
Throughout the three-day course, participants will be involved in training exercises and presentations on how to handle emergency situations and ways to save lives prior to the arrival of ambulances or professional help.
On the last day of the course, participants will be assessed to ensure that they perform every procedure correctly, prior to the presentation of certificates to certify their completion of course.
The courses are open to members of the public in general and group training sessions may be arranged for government and non-government organisations.
