The Academy of Brunei Studies (APB) faculty organised a selection process for the upcoming “Adat Istiadat” quiz, which will begin on March 24. The selection was done by the second year students in charge of the quiz selection and semi-finals.
The selection which was held at the Academy of Brunei Studies building saw the participation of five groups of students representing their faculties and departments in UBD. They were the Academy of Brunei Studies (APB), Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), Faculty of Business, and Policy Studies (FBEPS), Institute of Medicine (IM) and Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education (SHBIE).
At the selection process, team members were required to answer 20 questions related to the “Adat Istiadat” and also the Melayu Islam Beraja (MIB) philosophy. Several faculties managed to successfully qualify for the semi-finals that will be held on March 24. The selected team will also be competing with other squads such as FBEPS versus FASS while SHBIE will compete with APB in the semi-finals.
The finals will be held on April 7 in conjunction with the “Adat Isitiadat” week.
