The Department of Fire and Rescue, in conjunction with its Golden Jubilee, is holding a charity sale bazaar from 9am to 5pm until Sunday at its headquarters complex in Old Airport, Berakas.
The charitable activities include Flying Fox, Smoke House (using breathing apparatus), Escape Chute from 7th floor, Fire Vehicle Ride, Turn Table Ladder Ride, and Life Air Pack Jump (from first floor).
From tomorrow, there will be bouncers until Sunday.
There is also a live reporting on Pelangi FM with DJ Zack.
Tomorrow, there will be Donning Fire Jacket and Hose Drill games and a colouring competition for children 12 years and below from 9am to 11am, and from 2pm to 4pm.
There will also be a Water Curtain Display from 10am to 3pm tomorrow.
The public can join the games or competitions by buying a $1 coupon from the coupon booth.
Proceeds from the collection of funds will be contributed to the Department of Fire and Rescue Orphan’s Fund.
The department will be conducting a Charity Walkathon this Sunday at 7am at the Parade Field of the department’s headquarters.
