A doa Kesyukuran (thanksgiving) ceremony was held recently in conjunction with the Anugerah Kampong Cemerlang (AKC) competition for Kg Jerudong 2009 that was held at the Jerudong Primary School’s multipurpose hall.
It was attended by Hj Mawardi Hj Abdullah, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, as the event’s guest of honour. He was accompanied by his spouse, and more than 100 of the council’s committee members also attended.
Kg Jerudong was nominated for the AKC with its slogan, “Ke Arah Pemedulian Pendudok dan Kemajuan Kampong”.
Event’s Chairman Hj Rais Hj Ishak, who is also the village head, said that he was grateful and wished to thank AKC’s committee members as well as those who were involved in bringing Kg Jerudong to enter into the finals of AKC.
