PC World unveils new Lenovo laptops

PC WORLD in Kiulap has unveiled a new life up of laptops from Lenovo that are equipped wit& face-recognition software that allows users to use their faces as a password.

According to the company, the touch-screen IdeaPad S10-3T tablet can be booted up in less than 10 seconds and comes with a “OneKey Rescue System” that is capable of recovering lost data, as well as repairing and removing viruses. It even has an “Active Protection System” that protects users’ data at all times.

PC World, which is the sole distributor of Lenovo computers in the Sultanate, said that the IdeaPad S10-3T tablet or the S10-3 netbook both come with a one-year warranty.

Weighing in at about 1.25 kilogrammes, the laptops which both have a 10.1-inch screen are ideal for students, avid travellers, businessmen as well as personal users.

The IdeaPads come equipped with a 1.3-megapixel webcam, two speakers with chamber Dolby Headphone certification, an Intel Atom Processor N450 (1.66GHz, 667MHz, FSB, 512KB L2Cache) as well as up to 2GB SDRAM memory and a hard drive that supports up to 320GB.
