“KEEP mouth clean and have a great smile,” 22 students and three teachers from Anthony Abell College were told at a mini-lecture on oral health at the Health Promotion Centre in Berakas.
A talk on oral health by Dr. Dimple included a brief introduction to the parts of the teeth, problems
related to poor care of teeth and gums. There was a demonstration of proper teeth brushing technique by Rosmahwati bte Zainal Abidin, from the Oral Health Promotion team.
During a tour around the health gallery, the students were briefed on the exhibits that included proper dental care, healthy diets and the dangers of smoking.
Tokens of appreciation were presented to the facilitators of the talk and to a representative officer of the Health Promotion Centre. LeRissa Rangga
