RABAT, March 13 (NNN-KUNA) — The Arab Maghreb Union (AMU) condemned Friday the Israeli government’s decision to build settlement units over the occupied Palestinian territories in complete defiance of international laws and relevant UN resolutions.
In a statement, the AMU rejected the Israeli settlement policies, as well as the change in the demographic, geographical and cultural status of occupied Palestinian territories, namely in occupied Jerusalem.
The AMU, which called on the international community to live up to its responsibilities vis-a-vis the Israeli policies, said the Israeli policies would undermine the just and comprehensive settlement for the Palestinian cause.
The AMU called for the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. — NNN-KUNA![]()
