The Fire and Rescue Department will hold a charity walkathon at its headquarters tomorrow as one of the activities to mark its golden jubilee celebrations.
Male participants will complete a 3.5-kilometre course, while female participants a three-kilometre course.
A donation box will also be placed at the venue to collect fund for orphans of the department.
In support of the event, HSBC has sponsored 50 tee shirts for the organising committee.
On hand to hand over the tee shirts to Commanding Officer of Operasi C and chairman of the walkathon Senior Superintendent Muhd Shahreeni bin Yussof was HSBC Deputy Chief Executive Officer Rosdi Amin bin Dato Paduka Haji Yaakub during a ceremony yesterday.
