TUNIS, March 13 (NNN-KUNA) — Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas held talks here Friday with Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali on indirect negotiations between Palestine and Israel.
After the meeting, Abbas told the press that the “fruitful” and “constructive” talks he held with Ben Ali discussed different regional issues, especially the peace negotiations that are being held back by the Israeli procedures.
President Abbas added that the talks included the Tunisian-Palestinian relations where he described them as “developing”. He affirmed that both parties confirmed continuity of consultations.
Abbas arrived here Thursday on an official two-day visit where he will be holding talks with senior officials. — NNN-KUNA
