Borneo Bulletin Writer Mar 13th, 2010 .

DES School recently conducted an annual study visit to promote awareness among its pre-school students in conjunction with the school’s English Month, which carries the theme, “English Language: A Catalyst of Change and the Attainment for the 21st Development Goals”, according to a press release.
Some 77 children from kindergarten two paid a visit to Hangar 1 and Hangar 2 of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s flights.

The trip was one of the extracurricular activities organised with an aim of exposing the students to learning experiences outside the classroom.

Meanwhile, kindergarten three students toured the facilities at the Empire Hotel and Country Club.

The children also got the opportunity to feed the turtles and fish on their own before playing at the Kid’s Corner of the hotel.
