The family of Haji Mohammad Fadillah bin Hj Mohammad Salleh will have a new house to call home following the laying of foundation ceremony yesterday.
The project is a joint effort by the Brunei-Muara District Office, Brunei Islamic Religious Council, Community Development Department and Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
The house which cost $29,000 is sponsored by Brunei Islamic Religious council ($15,000), Community Development Department ($5,000), Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah ($5000) and Brunei-Muara District Welfare Fund ($4,000).
The ceremony was officiated by Dato Paduka Awang Hj Mohd Yussop bin Bakar, Brunei-Muara District Officer with Puan Hajah Mahani, the Acting Deputy Secretary of Brunei Islamic Religious Council as well as representatives from Community Development Department and Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
The project is part of the group’s efforts to identify, assess and provide assistance to underprivileged families.
