Students of Haji Tarif Primary School celebrated the 26th National Day at the school hall in Kampong Tamoi Tengah recently.
Among those present were headmistress Dayang Hamiltun binti Haji Abdul Samad and teaching staff.
The event was aimed at instilling the spirit of patriotism among students.
Some of the activities lined up for the day included the singing of patriotic songs, a quiz to test students’ knowledge on the country, and logo designing competition.
The National Day pledge was also made by the students, led by head prefect Mohd Aqil bin Abas of Year six, while a prayer was recited by Religious Department Head Ustaz Ashrah bin Pengarah Haji Metusin.
