SUCRE, BOLVIA, March 16 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA) – Peru and Bolivia are looking into cooperation in solving legal cases, a diplomatic source reported .
Peruvian Ambassador to Bolivia Manuel Rodriguez met with Bolivian Supreme Court of Justice Chairman Julio Ortiz recently on the issue.
There is a possibility to establish institutional agreements in solving problems in both countries regarding justice administration, Rodriguez said.
He said the proposed agreements will allow solving cases shelved, the Bolivian News Agency (ABI) reported.
Rodriguez said that the Peruvian Supreme Court of Justice chairman is expected to visit Sucre before the Bolivian authorities visited Peru.
Both governments have differences due to the Peruvian refusal to extradite three ex ministers of Sanchez de Lozada’s administration (2002-2003) involved in crimes against humanity. — NNN-PRENSA LATINA
