A meeting for the Under-16 National League semifinal matches was held yesterday at the Football Federation of Brunei Darussalam (FFBD) office in Kiulap.
Present at the meeting were team managers of teams involved and a representative from the Association of Football Referees of Negara Brunei Darussalam (PPBNBD).
The meeting chaired by Johari Hj Bungsu, FFBD Secretariat and Liew Chuan Fue, FFBD member, among all spoke about the safety and venue for the second semifinal matches besides listening to comments from the managers.
Two matches will be held on Friday, March 19 (first semi-final) which will see Group B second placed Projek Ikan Pusu (PIP) up against champion of Group A Muara Vella FC. The match will be held at the Rimba Secondary School field at 4pm.
The second match is between Group A second placed Kuala Belait JBS Scheme against Group B champion Sports School. The match will kick-off at 3pm at the Arena field.
The return-leg for Muara Vella FC against PIP will be held on Tuesday, March 23 while the Sports School-Kuala Belait JBS Scheme match will be on Wednesday, March 24. Both matches will kick-off at 2.30pm at a venue to be announced at a later date.
The final match will be on Saturday, March 27 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas at 8.15pm.
Muara Vella FC topped Group A collecting 28 points after 10 matches with nine wins and a draw while Kuala Belait JBS Scheme came in second collecting 22 points after winning seven, one draw and two losses.
In Group B, Sports School collected 25 points to claim the top spot after eight wins, one draw and one loss. PIP collected 22 points with seven wins, one draw and two losses after 10 matches.
