Three lucky winners of the HSBC Personal Banking and Credit Card E-Statement campaign that ended recently received their prizes yesterday, in a presentation ceremony held at the HSBC’s main branch in the capital.

Rashidah Md Jair, Md Jeffrey A Suresh and Mohd Said Mohd Ali were picked as winners in a lucky draw, and won themselves a Sony TX1 Digital Camera, an Apple Macbook and a Sony Vaio Net Book, respectively.

On hand to present the prizes to the winners was the Deputy CEO and Head of Personal Financial Services HSBC Brunei, Rosdi Amin Yaakub. Also present at the event were Self-Service and E-Banking Manager Sukinah Ghani and HSBC staff members.

The Deputy CEO said that in signing up for the Personal Internet Banking, customers would have made the choice that has a positive impact on the environment. He added that when customers opt to receive e-statements, not only are they being eco-friendly by cutting down on paper waste, but they are also reducing their own carbon footprint.
