NAMIBE, March 20 (NNN-ANGOP):The minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Pedro Canga, learnt on Thursday in the south-west Namibe Province about the functioning of various companies linked to the fishing sector.
Pedro Canga, who is carrying out a work visit to Namibe Province, travelled to Baba locality to check the functioning of artisanal fishing and crab capturing company of ?Kapatola?, where he showed his satisfaction about the level of organisation, equipment, production and management.
In ?Kapatola? company, the minister learnt about the new project of the institution that is estimated at USD 3.5 million, whose implementation will generate 150 new jobs, increase the capture and supply of fish.
The referred company also includes the promotion local crab, as well as its divulgence in the international fairs of the sector.
The investments comprise the construction of a small warehouse with the rise and fall of boats that will enable the repair and maintenance of its freight and other boats.
