A clustered smart study techniques guidance programme was recently held for Year Six students of Rimba I Primary School.
The programme was organised by the school’s guidance service with the cooperation of the Brunei III Primary Schools counsellor committee members.
The programme commenced with the recital of surah al-fatihah, followed by a welcoming speech delivered by the Rimba I Primary School Headmaster, Cikgu Ayerman bin Haji Kahan. Year Six pupils who were attending the programme then sang a song entitled ‘Tekad Motivasi’.
During the programme the children were divided into groups supervised by counsellors from Brunei III Primary Schools.
The programme was held to help motivate Year Six pupils who will be sitting for their public examinations later this year. Students learnt methods on how to develop their self-confidence and smart learning techniques.
Activities held included ice breaking, planning a mission, self-reflection, changing attitudes from negative to positive, smart learning, smart reading skills and smart remembering skills.
