With the aim of instilling healthy practices through exercise in a child’s early years, Jigsaw Primary School in Berakas hosted its annual Sports Day recently in the school’s compound.
Some 400 of its students from Kindergarten to Year Six took part in the fun-filled day. The event commenced with a singing of the National Anthem and warm-up exercises, followed by the Cheer team’s performance led and choreographed by Principal Mrs Helen Chin.
The students then took part in 12 contests and medals were given out to the winners by the principal.
