A 45-year-old local man was released on a bail of $5,000 or one local surety while awaiting trial in a pimping case. Lin Yun Yu pleaded not guilty before the Bandar Magistrate’s Court yesterday to a charge of allowing two women to be hired for prostitution on March 20, 2010.
Prosecution, conducted by Karen Tan and Atiyyah Abas, earlier dropped charges against the two women suspected to be prostitutes and they will be called to testify as prosecution witnesses.
The trial was set by the court to be heard from April 3 to 7, 2010.
