Seri Mulia Sarjana International School (SMSIS) recently held an Arts and Crafts Camp 2010, drawing the participation of over 50 Year I to Year III students.
Opening the two-day event was SMSIS Deputy Principal Chong Wee Meng, who encouraged participants to not only enjoy themselves but to also be creative in the activities lined-up for them. A video presentation followed, highlighting the Arts Camp last year.
Later, art materials were distributed to campers as the teachers-in-charge explained the steps to completing the projects. The students’ works were exhibited the following day in the school hall.
The exhibits included bees and caterpillars made from yarn, colourful masks, glove puppets and shell necklaces.
Another exciting part of the camp was the Edible Art, where campers made their masterpieces out of bread, chocolates and colourful candies.
On hand to present certificates and prizes to the participants was SM Sarjana Principal Radzuan bin Abdullah. Joseph Gatz
