PESAKA celebrated the last day of its golden jubilee on April 4 with a closing ceremony officiated by Pengiran Hajah Mariana bte Pengiran Dipa Negara Laila Diraja Pengiran Haji Abdul Momin, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.
Upon arrival, the guest of honour was accompanied by Yang Dipertua of PESAKA, Awg Ahanapi bin Hj Mahadi, to the exhibition area where government agencies, sales and motor companies among others, took part in the event.
The closing ceremony began with a recital of the al-fatihah by the Imam of Keriam Mosque in Tutong followed by remarks from Yang Dipertua of PESAKA and the guest of honour.
The youths of PESAKA also presented cultural performances prior to the gift presentation to winners of the ‘house-hold matters’ contest. Certificates of appreciation were also presented to government agencies and private companies involved. A doa selamat was then recited by Hj Mohd Kartolo bin Hj Abang, Imam of Kampong Keriam.
