A Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was held at Kampong Bunut Perpindahan recently after the completion of morning prayers. Present during the gathering were the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office, Awang Haji Murni bin Haji Mohamed, who assisted in guiding the ‘B’ group as they participated during the tadarus at the mosque. Also in attendance were the congregation of the Kampong Bunut Mosque, the consultative council committee, the committee of Takmir Masjid Kampong Bunut, the IKERAB Persatuaan Committee and the head of Kampong Tasek Meradun.
