Kasha Apr 26th, 2010 .

With regards to health awareness, it is important to practise, adopt and familiarise one’s self with the proper lifestyle, which reduces the government expenditure of treating people in this country.
The Fitness and Sports Welfare of the Department of Islamic Studies organised a health programme for its members and their families yesterday. This annual programme was held at the Bukit Shahbandar Recreational Park with the aim to promote a healthy lifestyle and to foster ties amongst staff.

The event commenced with the recital of al-fatihah and a doa selamat by Zulkifli bin Haji Puteh. It was followed by an aerobic workout, hiking and a lucky draw. Present to hand over the gifts were Director of Studies, Ustaz Haji Ismail Haji Abdul Manaf and Assistant Director, Ustazah Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Abd Ghani.
