HRH Prince Abdul Mateen and HRH Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah both emerged victorious in their respective badminton championship categories, vying for the Pengiran Indera Mahkota Pengiran Anak Dr. Kamaludin Al-Haj’s Cup at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex Multi-purpose Hall in Berakas last night.
HRH Prince Abdul Mateen partnered with Nazlee Pehin Dato Hj Jaafar lost in the first set 16-21 before bouncing back in the second set winning 21-16 and 21-14 in the third set.
Meanwhile, HRH Princess Fadzillah Lubabul Bolkiah partnered with Aziz Jaafar won in straight sets 21-12 and 21-17.
