The Bersatu Bikers Club (BBC) yesterday organised a “azan” and “iqamat” competition at the residence of the President of the Bersatu Bikers Club, Awang Jahali bin Suhaili at Kg Bukit Udal, Tutong.
The ceremony began with a mass recital of the surah al-fatihah that was led by S50, Ustaz Haji Sahrum bin Haji Abd Hamid and was followed by a welcoming speech from Awang Jahali bin Suhaili.
Six participants took part in the “azan” and “iqamat” competition. Present to award the prizes was Haji Wahab bin Apong, Mukim Tanjung Maya Penghulu.
The ceremony ended with a doa selamat which was read by the imam of Kg Bukit Udal Mosque followed by a group photo.
The BBC was established on Jan 12, 2008.
