Choosing a souvenir for wedding guests can be a challenge. However, this was not the case for Hj Tahir bin Moksin of Kampong Perpindahan Lambak Kanan who chose to give a packet of Laila rice as a souvenir to every guest at the wedding ceremony of his son, Mohd Sofri bin Hj Tahir. Hj Tahir said he was happy to present Laila rice as gift as this would help introduce the local rice variety, and besides most the guests have not tried it yet.
