Auditions for the search for Filipino talents for the 112th anniversary celebration of Philippine independence will be held on May 16, 23 and 30, the Filipino Association in Brunei supported by the Philippine Embassy announced yesterday.
The auditions will be held from 10am to 12 noon at St George’s School.
The search is one of the highlights of the Filipino gathering on June 20, from 9am to 6pm, at the Scout Centre to celebrate the Philippine National Day, organisers said.
The search for talents comprise performances from different artistic disciplines like musical voice, musical instruments (a band), dance, theatrical performance and others.
Organisers said the criteria for fair, reasonable and constructive assessments of the performances include technical execution (35 per cent), visual presentation (20 per cent), originality of performance (20 per cent), dynamics (15 per cent) and X-factor (10 per cent).
