Twenty students from the Hospitality and Tourism Department of Maktab Teknik Sultan Saiful Rijal Jalan Muara (MTTSR) made an educational visit to the Adat Istiadat Department at the Lapau building in the capital.
The students were accompanied by five teachers.
Upon arrival, the delegation was greeted by the officers and staff of the department. They were briefed on the functions of the Lapau building delivered by Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Japar, the department’s officer.
Cikgu Hajah Farhanah Orang Kaya Seri Wijaya Haji Abdullah, one of the instructors, said that the visit aimed to expose the students to Brunei’s unique customs and traditions.
She added that the students should be resourceful and equipped with lots of information on Brunei.
