Hj Md Said Arshad & HAL
The signing ceremony of a special passbook of “one dollar one day” scheme was launched at the Tutong’s BIBD bank.
The scheme was organised by the Religious Hall of Kampong Sengkarai, Tutong with a friendly concept of “family generates the economy towards piety”.
Imam Hj Hamaffi Md Yassin, the scheme’s chairperson, explained that some 20 participants had registered themselves for the scheme and that the number was expected to increase to 30 on that day itself.
Among other things, the “one dollar one day” scheme was to make the congregation to be aware of the importance of saving money for their future requirements which is in line with His Majesty’s wish to transform Brunei Darussalam into a Zikir and a Zero Poverty Nation.
This scheme was intended to be part of a contribution and care from the Takmir committee members of the religious hall to all levels of society in dealing with the family’s economy.
Imam Hj Hamaffi hoped with the signing of the special passbook, participants would be able to save their money safely as well as training together with their respective families to strengthen the family’s overall economy.
