The US Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, Mr William E Todd, was the first to extend his professional congratulations and comments on yesterday’s historic announcement.
“We look forward to working with all the newly-appointed Government of Brunei Ministers and Deputy Ministers,” Mr Todd said, adding: “Change in any organisation is an important part of the process towards improvement and success.”
The US envoy also highlighted on the country’s first female cabinet appointment. “I am pleased to see the active role of women within the cabinet with the first female Deputy Minister appointment (Datin Hjh Adina).”
