A group of 20 Primary 5 students from the Woodgrove Primary School yesterday visited the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) in the capital.
Upon arrival, the group was welcomed by the Head of Library, Awg Hj Sahari Hj Nassar as well staff members of the bureau and were briefed by the Head of Public Relations Awg Hj Amdan Hj Musa.
After the briefing, the students along with their four supervising teachers toured the Children Library Section where they were given several quizzes on the library, as well as about the sultanate as part of the side activities of the visit.
According to teacher Nur Idayu Yusi, the visit was aimed at exposing the students to the traditions and cultures practiced in the sultanate, as well as to learn about the education system.
Prior to the visit to DPB, the visitors also visited several places of interest in Brunei such as the Royal Regalia, Tamu and Kampong Ayer, as well as to Junjungan Primary School and Wasan Paddy Plant.
