Pusat Ehsan charity golf winners

Awang Moksin Junaidi carded a total of 70 gross to capture the overall men’s winner trophy of the 8th Pusat Ehsan Charity Golf Tournament at the RBA Golf Club yesterday.
His nearest rival, Tony Hj Karim was just two shots behind at 72 gross followed by Seruji Hj Setia in third place with 73ocb.

In the overall nett category, Hj Arfian Hj Abd Kadir shot a total of 64 nett to emerge as the winner. Following behind with two shots adrift was Chris Tay with 66ocb and in third place was Dennis Koh who finished with 66ocb.

The Division A Gross winner prize went to Imay Hendra after he carded 74ocb. Hj Zaini Hj Abd Rahman (74ocb) was second followed by Awg Kadir Ghani (74).

In the Division B Gross category, Rudy Yussof was the winner with 75 gross followed by On Sie Lu (77) and Hj Azaman Daud (80).

Haji Rijal Hj Kassim finished the day with 67 to win the Division A Nett. Second spot went to Ahmad Munaidi Khairi (71ocb) and Wan Man Hj Wan Hil was in third place with 73.

In the Division B Nett, Abd Rahim Jumat was first with 67 nett followed by Hj Yussof Daud (69) and Malai Hamir Mashor (70).

Division C Nett was won by Hj Ismail Chuchu with a score of 69 nett. Chong Chen Kong finished in second place with 69ocb and Kelvin Teo came in third with 70 nett.

Hj Md Hussin Rahman won the Senior Nett category with a score of 67 followed by Lt Col (Rtd) Hj Aziz Abdullah and Hj Md Hussin Metassan.

In the Ladies Nett category, Dk Zabaidah binti Pg Mohammad scored 77 nett to grab home the winner’s prize. Hjh Norhayati binti Masri came in second place with 80 nett and Dk Hernic Shernie was third with 94 nett.

The VIP and Sponsors Nett category was won by John Too who hit 69ocb followed by Ken Kho (69ocb) and Pg Zaki Al Hakim (69).

In the novelty prizes, the nearest to line at Hole 11 went to Hj Md Hussin Metassan while longest drive at Hole 18 went to Wan Man Hj Wan Hil.

The nearest to the pin at Hole 2 went to Hj Amir Osman, Fadzlan bin Hj Annuar (Hole 5), Hj Sani Bakir (Hole 12), Moksin Junaidi (Hole 14) and Ken Kho (Hole 16).

The newly appointed Minister of Communications, Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Abdullah bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Hj Bakar, as the guest-of-honour, presented the prizes to the winners.

Also present were Dato Paduka Awg Hj Ali bin Hj Apong, the new Deputy Minister of Development and Dato Paduka Awang Haji Alimin Haji Abd Wahab, the organizing chairperson of the tournmant

Some 200 golfers took part in the tournament which raised a total of $53,000 for Pusat Ehsan.
