Twenty-two students and four teachers from Singapore’s Compassvale Primary School paid a visit to PKN Bukit Beruang Primary School, Tutong recently, as part of the Singapore-Brunei Cultural Immersion Programme.
Welcoming the visitors was headmaster Cikgu Samihon Haji Kechi and the school’s hadrah team.
The visiting students were also showered by bunga rampai and being greeted by Year 6 students from the school, who had been selected to buddy up with their Singaporean counterparts.
The group was then briefed on the school’s profile before a tour of the school’s numerous facilities, including the eco garden, where a rambutan tree was planted.
A stage performance and a demonstration on the making of Malay traditional food were also lined up for the visitors.
