Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) issued a statement yesterday to inform users that the telephone exchange software upgrade Phase 3 is scheduled for Tuesday, June 1, 2010 between 1.00am-3.00am in the morning.
TelBru in the press release said that the nationwide software upgrade is part of TelBru’s initiative to provide better and more secure telecommunications services to its users in future.
TelBru stated that during the upgrading work, users would experience interruption of telephone services for only a brief period as diligent scheduling of the upgrade would ensure that any service interruption to users is kept to a minimum and work will be completed within the early morning hours. TelBru apologised for any inconvenience caused.
