In an exciting twist to the International Halal Products Expo 2010 launched at the ICC yesterday, guests were treated to a cooking demonstration by world-renowned celebrity chef Bobby Chinn.

In an event held at the expo venue, over 50 invited guests had a chance to see Bobby Chinn cook two simple and easy-to-follow Vietnamese dishes. Members of the audience were seen taking notes while being entertained by the lively and comical character of the celebrity chef.

Attending as guest of honour at the event was Datin Dyg Hjh Norlina binti Dato Hj Abu Bakar, the wife of the Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Utama Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Yahya. She also had the opportunity to take part in the cooking demonstration with the celebrity chef.

The event was organised by Wafirah Holdings Sdn Bhd and Ghanim International Food Corporation Sdn Bhd as part of the activities held at the International Halal Products Expo 2010.

Today’s event will include another cooking demonstration by Bobby Chinn featuring the winning dishes from the “Cooking From the Heart” competition announced yesterday evening.
