The Mukim Seria Consultative Council yesterday hosted a ceremony to bid farewell to the former Belait District Officer, Hj Jamain bin Momin and to welcome the newly appointed Belait District Officer, Awg Matussin bin OKS Hj Tuba. The event, held in Seria, began with a welcoming speech by Hj Jamail bin Hj Linap, Penghulu of Mukim Seria. Awg Matussin then presented appointment certificates to new members of the council.
