THE Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) will celebrate its 44th year anniversary celebration with the Commander of the RBAirF Col (U) Hj Jofri Hj Abdullah carrying out an inspection of the Guards of Honour mounted by RBAirF personnel at the Rimba Air Base.
The parade will be held at the auspicious occasion followed with a presentation of awards to RBAirF personnel in recognition of their exemplary work performance throughout 2009.
The presentation ceremony, to be held at Dewan Punai in Rimba Air Base, will include the “Outstanding Wing Award” and the “Outstanding Personnel Award”.
A Khatam Al-Quran and thanksgiving ceremony was conducted yesterday evening at the Berakas Garrison Prayer Hall in Berakas in commemoration of the 44th anniversary celebration.
Present during the ceremony yesterday was the RBAirF Commander Col (U) Hj Jofri as well as Senior RBAirF officers and personnel. The religious ceremony began with a short recital of the Al-Quran followed by the Maghrib prayers and the Khatam Al-Quran event and the thanksgiving doa.
