Officers from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAF) held a thanksgiving ceremony and khatam al-Quran, in conjunction with the June 24 RBAF anniversary celebrations, held at Surau Berakas Garrison, Wednesday evening.
Present as the guest of honour was the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force, Colonel (U) Haji Jofri bin Haji Abdullah. Also present was the Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force, Colonel (U) Ali bin Haji Sabar as well as air force officers.
The ceremony commenced with mass Magrib prayers, followed by the thanksgiving ceremony, which took place prior to the khatam al-Quran that was led by 14 unit representatives from the RBAF. The guest of honour led the Dzikir Murhaban to bless the ceremony, which came to an end with mass Isyak prayers.
