His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, left Kuwait on Wednesday evening, after concluding his four-day official visit.
Present at the Amiri Terminal of the Kuwait International Airport to bid farewell were His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; the Ambassador of Brunei to Kuwait Pengiran Hj Mustapa Pengiran Hj Aliudin, as well as Kuwaiti dignitaries.
Accompanying His Royal Highness throughout the visit was Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi.
Prior to departure, a prayer was recited by Pehin Khatib Haji Mustafa Hj Murat.
Brunei and Kuwait established diplomatic relations on May 1, 1990. This is His Royal Highness’ first visit to Kuwait at the invitation of His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam made state visits to Kuwait in 1994 and 2009. – Izam Said Ya’akub
